What Catherine Denoual Maison is known for
Linen and home-textile house founded 1998 in Ho Chi Minh City by former Paris fashion editor Catherine Denoual, working with local embroiderers and rattan weavers; now four boutiques across Asia.
Catherine Denoual Maison traces to 1995, when Catherine Denoual, previously a Paris fashion editor, settled in Vietnam with her family. After hiring a local embroiderer to help decorate her own new home in Saigon, Denoual began developing her own linen and home-textile designs, working with local artisans. The house was established under her name in 1998 and began showing at Maison & Objet, the Paris home-design trade fair, from 1999 onward. It opened its first boutique in 2006 and now operates four boutiques across Asia, with documented Ho Chi Minh City addresses including 38 Ly Tu Trong in District 1. Products include bed and table linens, embroidered lampshades, rattan storage pieces, hand-painted porcelain and glass-bead lighting, all produced in Vietnam.
