What Confetti Mario Pelino is known for
Berardino Pelino founded the confetti works by notarial deed in 1783, and the business moved to its Sulmona factory in 1890 — a building declared a Monument of National Interest in 1922. Now in its seventh generation of family control and a member of Les Hénokiens, the association of two-century family firms, Pelino remains a family-run confetti maker in Sulmona today, continuing its artisanal sugared-almond traditions.
Best for — Confetti flowers and wedding almonds.
