East Pacific Trade (EPT) is a Seoul-based footwear brand founded in 2019 by Jai Baek, a designer with prior experience at skate- and streetwear-adjacent labels including DC Shoes, HUF, Creative Recreation and Gourmet. EPT's shoes started from a skateboarding-shoe silhouette and lean toward retro court-sneaker shapes rendered in muted suede colorways, aimed at Seoul's streetwear scene. The brand opened its first flagship store in the Dosan/Gangnam district in 2024, followed by additional Seoul locations in Myeongdong and Seongsu the same year. EPT also sells internationally through stockists such as Newstyle (Netherlands), Kapok and Likelihood, alongside its own eastpacifictrade.com site.
