What Elaikos is known for
Elaikos presses extra virgin olive oil from groves around Nea Peramos on the Kavala coast, picking early in the harvest and storing the oil in nitrogen-flushed steel tanks to protect acidity. The family-run producer has won golds at the London and New York olive oil competitions and Gastronomos Quality Awards for its single-estate oils, including two New York golds in 2020 reported by Olive Oil Times.
