Eraldo began in 1947 in Ceggia, a small town in the province of Venice, when Eraldo Ferrante opened a family-run haberdashery, starting a commercial tradition that would continue across generations. In the 1970s, the second generation of the family, drawn to fashion, transformed the shop into a clothing store, moving it away from its haberdashery roots. The business kept growing through the following decades, and by 2009 had become a recognized three-floor boutique carrying major international luxury brands. A larger reinvention came in 2011 with the opening of the current Eraldo Store: a building faced in cubic basalt housing roughly 2,500 square metres of retail space across three floors, mixing established houses such as Dolce&Gabbana, Gucci and Prada with newer contemporary and luxury streetwear labels. The company has continued to diversify since: Eraldo Kids, a dedicated children's-fashion offshoot, opened in 2020, and a further boutique opened in the seaside town of Jesolo in April 2023, alongside the company's e-commerce platform, Eraldo Hub.
