Falagan Mantas Artesanas

Falagan weaves wool blankets, scarves and ponchos in Val de San Lorenzo, a Maragatería village that counted eighty-one cloth makers in the mid-1700s and once sent its mantas across Spain with muleteer traders. The workshop still uses natural dyes and pure sheep's wool, and its output sits alongside a village textile museum that documents the centuries-old process.
