What Falconeri is known for

Italian cashmere knitwear brand founded 2000 by Pierangelo Fenzi, acquired by the Calzedonia Group in 2009; knitted at its own facility in Avio, Trento, sourcing yarn directly to cut out middlemen.

Falconeri was founded in 2000 by Pierangelo Fenzi and acquired in 2009 by the Calzedonia Group, the Verona-based fashion conglomerate that also owns Calzedonia, Intimissimi, and Tezenis. The brand specializes in cashmere and other natural-fiber knitwear, sourcing yarn directly rather than through intermediaries. Its production is centered at a facility in Avio, in the province of Trento, reported to run roughly 150 knitting machines producing on the order of 1,900 jumpers a day. Falconeri officially entered the U.S. market in 2019.
