What G.O.D. (Goods of Desire) is known for
G.O.D. was founded in 1996 by designer Douglas Young in a small Ap Lei Chau boutique and built its identity on turning everyday Hong Kong iconography, from housing-estate tiles to Cantonese slang and neon signage, into homeware, stationery and clothing. The brand has stayed independently Hong Kong-owned even as it expanded into a multi-location retailer.
