What Harmont & Blaine is known for
Naples menswear brand tracing to 1986, when Domenico and Enzo Menniti founded glove maker PDM with partners Paolo and Massimo Montefusco; added swimwear in 1993, opened its first boutique in 2000, and kept production in Naples.
Harmont & Blaine's history begins in 1986, when Domenico Menniti founded a company called PDM together with his brother Enzo Menniti and business partners Paolo and Massimo Montefusco, initially producing leather gloves. The business expanded into ready-to-wear in 1993 with a first collection of swimming trunks, then broadened further in 1995 to include shirts, trousers and sweaters. Its first standalone boutique opened in 2000 in Frattamaggiore, in the Naples area, where the brand's production remains concentrated. The dachshund became the company's logo and mascot. Harmont & Blaine now sells internationally through both standalone stores and shop-in-shops, including locations in US shopping centers operated by Simon Property Group.
