What Harriett's Bookshop is known for
Harriett’s Bookshop is a Black-owned independent Philadelphia bookstore and community space opened in 2020, centered on women authors, artists and activists. Its shelves and programming make the Fishtown shop a cultural stop as well as a place to buy books, continuing the mission named for Harriet Tubman.
