What Hatakan Seido is known for
Hatakan Seido has made confections by hand in the Yudanaka-Shibu hot spring district of Yamanouchi since 1927, known for its 90-year-old recipe for koshian (smooth red bean paste) used in manju buns and dorayaki. The shop sells directly from its Nagano storefront, open daily from 8:30am to 6pm.
