What Jacobs & Co. Steakhouse is known for
Toronto steakhouse opened in 2007 on Brant Street in King West; relocated in 2019 to 81 Bay Street in the Financial District, where it now occupies a fourth-floor space with a dry-aging room, a cheese-and-charcuterie cave, and a sommelier-curated wine list.
Jacobs and Co. opened in 2007 on Brant Street in Toronto's King West neighbourhood, at a time when the area was still an emerging dining destination. The restaurant built its reputation on sourcing, dry-aged beef, and a dedicated cheese and charcuterie room alongside sommelier-led wine service. By 2019, with its Brant Street lease ending and King West's culinary profile having changed, the team moved to a larger, purpose-built space at 81 Bay Street, on the fourth floor of the CIBC Square complex in the Financial District. The restaurant has since been recognized in the World's 101 Best Steak Restaurants list in both 2024 and 2025.
