What Karaja Sumba is known for
Karaja Sumba works with weavers in Lamboya, West Sumba, to produce hand-dyed ikat textiles using natural dyes gathered from plants around the weaving villages, with each piece taking up to a year to complete. The studio doesn't sell online; visitors are invited to its showroom in Sumba to choose and buy pieces directly.
