What Kauffman Orchards is known for
A.L. and Sue Kauffman bought their 90-acre farm in 1904, and their descendants have run it as a fruit orchard and market since the first roadside stand went up in 1935; a fifth generation took over in 2019. The farm still presses flash-pasteurized cider and makes apple butter to a recipe used since 1989.
