What Privatbrauerei Gaffel Becker & Co. is known for
The Becker brothers founded Gaffel in 1908 in a guild-styled house on the Eigelstein, and the fourth Becker generation still runs the private brewery. Its Kolsch is poured at the Gaffel am Dom brewhouse in the Deichmannhaus beside the cathedral and across some 3,000 venues.
