KSP Jerusalem

KSP was founded in 1997 in Haifa by Sorkin, Priluk and Oded Koren, who started out importing computer components and running the business from a one-room apartment. As the parts-import market grew saturated and margins fell, the founders pivoted to importing and selling complete computers, then expanded into computer peripherals as that category also became competitive. From 2010 the company diversified further, adding product categories unrelated to computing to keep growing against increasing competition in Israel's electronics retail sector. KSP has since become one of Israel's largest electronics chains, with more than 60 branches nationwide. The Jerusalem branch sits in the Har Hotzvim industrial park at Kiryat HaMada Street, serving a district built around Jerusalem's technology and biotech companies rather than a typical shopping strip. The company's growth from a single rented room to a nationwide chain of dozens of branches over roughly three decades tracks Israel's own consumer-electronics retail expansion during the same period.
