Kuli Alma shop

Tel Aviv

What Kuli Alma shop is known for

Bar, club and art space in Tel Aviv's Florentin district (Mikve Israel St 10, corner of Yehuda Halevi and Allenby), opened March 2014 by a collective of local DJs and artists. Hosts rotating gallery exhibitions and occasional pop-up shops rather than operating as a standing retail store.

Kuli Alma opened in March 2014 on the corner of Yehuda Halevi and Allenby streets in Florentin, south Tel Aviv, at Mikve Israel Street 10. It is owned and run by a collective of Tel Aviv DJs, artists and party organizers, and its name is Aramaic for 'the whole world.' The space is split across levels: a cylindrical gallery for rotating art exhibitions, a U-shaped indoor bar and dance floor, and an open-air courtyard reached by a winding staircase, its walls covered in street-art murals. A food menu of vegetarian Israeli dishes accompanies the bar. The venue also hosts temporary exhibitions and pop-up shops rather than functioning as a permanent retail storefront.
