The Kumejima Tsumugi Cooperative Association runs Yuimaru-kan, the island's weaving hall, where mud-and-plant-dyed silk has held status as an Important Intangible Cultural Property since 2004. Visitors can watch dyeing and weaving in progress and buy finished tsumugi textiles through the cooperative's own museum shop and online store.
