What La Segunda Central Bakery is known for
La Segunda has baked Cuban bread by hand in Tampa's Ybor City since 1915, still pressing a fresh palmetto leaf into each loaf before baking, a labor-intensive tradition few bakeries keep up. Now run by the fourth generation of the More family, it produces 20,000 loaves daily and sells through four Tampa Bay locations and online.
