What Le Moulin de Léon is known for
The Jay family has milled walnut oil in Chatte since 1830, crushing kernels under a two-ton stone wheel for about fifteen minutes before pressing. The mill also makes walnut wine-vinegar and walnut mustard, and presses to order for local growers.
