The brand's identity centers on Australian Merino wool, roughly 60 percent of the fibre it uses. In 2017 M.J. Bale introduced its Kingston single-origin suiting collection, sourcing wool from Kingston farm in Tasmania, woven into cloth in Italy before the finished suits are cut and sewn in Japan.
