What Manos del Uruguay is known for
Since 1968, Manos del Uruguay has organized rural artisan cooperatives producing hand-dyed and hand-knitted wool goods. The fair-trade organization is owned by the women who make its yarns and knitwear, linking craft purchases directly to the cooperative network.
