What National Gallery of Zimbabwe in Bulawayo is known for
The National Gallery's Bulawayo branch fills Douslin House, a 1901 building on the corner of J.M.N. Nkomo Street and Leopold Takawira Avenue, with Zimbabwean stone and wood sculpture, painting, basketry and Tonga artifacts. Its in-house Sabona Sales Shop sells work by local artists, from sculptures, drums and baskets to balancing birds and decorated wooden pens, alongside pieces from the DRC.
