What Omoya Shuzo is known for
Omoya Shuzo has distilled on Iki since 1924, running two separate sites on the island: a main shochu brewery and a second facility at Yokoyama dedicated to sake made with local rice and spring water. Its black-koji barley shochu, sold as Chingu and Natsujojo, favors the founder's founding instinct to work against passing trends rather than chase them.
