Ottod'Ame

Ottod'Ame is an Italian womenswear brand founded in 2011 by designer Silvia Mazzoli, in partnership with entrepreneurs Niccolò Frosini and Gianni Guastella, based between Florence and Prato — the latter a longstanding Tuscan textile and garment-manufacturing hub. The brand's name is presented as a play on the French word 'âme' (soul), and is described in company materials as referencing a founding group of women involved in developing the label. Ottod'Ame's collections are built around print combinations, color mixing and knitwear, aimed at an everyday, wearable register rather than high-fashion formality, drawing on the tailoring know-how of the Florence-Prato manufacturing district while keeping a contemporary, casual-feminine styling. The brand states that its products are manufactured entirely within roughly a 20-kilometre radius of Prato, and has set sustainability targets around increasing its use of recycled fabrics, citing a goal of 50% recycled fabric content by 2025. Since its 2011 launch the label has expanded into international wholesale and stockist distribution, sold through boutiques and multi-brand retailers across Europe and beyond, alongside its own outlets around Florence.
