P448

Paris

What P448 is known for

Italian sneaker label founded in 2014 in Forlì, Emilia-Romagna, by Marco Samorè and Andrea Curti. Footwear is made in Europe; sold internationally, including at Paris's Printemps department store.

P448 was founded in 2014 in Forlì, Italy, by friends Marco Samorè and Andrea Curti as what began as a passion project rather than a planned fashion venture. The name itself has no hidden meaning — it is simply the project number the founders assigned the label when they started. Their first men's, women's and children's sneaker collections drew an immediate response from the Italian market, and the brand grew from there on a mix of travel-inspired design, street-culture references and technical detailing, all crafted in European workshops rooted in Italian shoemaking traditions. In 2017 P448 entered the US market, expanding a customer base that would go on to include celebrity wearers such as Taylor Swift and Bradley Cooper. In 2018 the founders struck an international distribution partnership with footwear executive Wayne Kulkin, and in 2020 Kulkin's company StreetTrend acquired the P448 brand outright and folded it into its portfolio. The shoes are sold both through the brand's own channels and through multi-brand retailers; within this listing, the store's Printemps-linked area tag reflects one such point of sale — the Printemps department store in Paris — rather than the brand's Italian production base.
