What Pomatti is known for
Italian confectioners the Pomatti brothers opened Königsberg's first marzipan factory in 1809 and went on to supply the royal court; the revived Kaliningrad brand still works from Mediterranean almonds for its bars and chocolate-dipped marzipan. The company runs its own factory tours and marzipan museum alongside its production line.
