PSK Coorg Spice Traders works out of Jain Street in Virajpet, wholesaling and retailing produce it describes as 'rooted in the rich agricultural heritage of Coorg (Kodagu)' since opening in 2021. The business sources directly from pepper plantations and spice estates in the Kodagu hills, where the combination of rich soil, steady rainfall and a distinct microclimate is credited with giving the black pepper its high essential-oil content — the traders' own explanation for why slow, mountain-grown pepper differs from lowland crops.
