Leo Guentert opened this shop on Ithaca's First Street in 1936, crafting ice cream with his wife Sylvia from natural, local ingredients. Bruce and Heather Lane have owned it since 1998 and still make small-batch ice cream and scratch-baked desserts using Leo's original recipes.
