Ravazzolo

Ravazzolo's tailoring lineage in the Vicenza area goes back to 1896, when the first Ravazzolo tailor's shop operated in Grumolo delle Abbadesse, a town in the province of Vicenza near the Palladian villas the region is known for. The family workshop grew across generations, transforming into a proper artisan workshop in the early 1950s and then, by the end of that decade, into what became an industrial tailoring company - formally established under the name Confezioni Ravazzolo (Confrav) in 1959. The company has built its reputation around a specific construction choice: it has never produced a fused (glued-canvas) garment, relying instead on traditional full-canvas construction throughout its history, a point the company and industry press both cite as central to its identity within Italian tailoring.
