Ryukyu Craft Gallery Keystone's Makishi branch is located in the Makishi district of Naha, Okinawa, near Kokusai-dori. The gallery specializes in traditional Okinawan crafts: Ryukyu glass, a postwar craft tradition that began when local craftsmen melted down glass bottles discarded by U.S. military bases; Yachimun pottery, including ware from Naha's historic Tsuboya district; and Bingata, a stencil-dyed textile technique historically reserved for royalty during the Ryukyu Kingdom era. The shop also sells original merchandise such as tote bags and T-shirts.
