S.S.DALEY emerged as one of Britain's most prominent independent fashion houses following founder Steven Stokey-Daley's creative vision. Established in 2020, the label has won the LVMH Prize (2022), the BFC Newgen Award (2021), and the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design (2024). The brand fuses classical tailoring craftsmanship with deliberate subversive detail—exploring themes of youth, class, and identity through unconventional silhouettes and hand-finished textiles. Stokey-Daley draws extensively from the University of Westminster's archival collection of historical menswear and his apprenticeship under London's master tailors to interpret and manipulate upcycled vintage fabrics into whimsical, class-crossing garments. Collections are literary and romantic, rooted in British cultural history, folklore, and pastoral tradition—visible in recurring signatures like intarsia knitwear, embroidered animal motifs, and painterly printed silks. Harry Styles acquired a minority investment stake in January 2024.
