What Sawanotsuru is known for
Sawanotsuru has brewed sake in Nada-ku since 1717, one of the older houses in the Nada-Gogo district that today supplies roughly a quarter of Japan's sake output. Its former brewhouse near Shin-Kobe Station now operates as a museum and shop selling junmai and seasonal releases straight from the kura.
