Seven Fortunes was founded in 2015 by Kareem Hassan, who built the company around three connected steps: sourcing coffee with intention, roasting it with discipline, and serving it with a hospitality that turns an everyday cup into a shared ritual. The brand now operates across both the UAE and Egypt, tracing each cup back through its own process — from the green coffee prepared at origin, through roasting and packing at its own roastery, to the final pour at the counter. Its rotating single-origin lineup draws from multiple growing regions at once: Brazil's Fazenda Rainha, Ethiopia's Bensa Shantawene Natural, Indonesia's Kerinci Anaerobic, Peru's San Ignacio, and Guatemala's Finca El Gigante Anaerobic, sold alongside capsules, cold coffee, and everyday brewing essentials for use at home. Beyond the shop counter, Seven Fortunes positions its cafés as gathering spaces — Hassan describes coffee as 'craft, ritual, and connection' rather than simply a drink, and the brand's own marketing leans on that idea of a place people return to rather than just pass through. The range of origin lots on rotation, paired with the UAE-and-Egypt footprint, sets it apart from single-market roasters working a narrower supply chain.
