What Shipibo Store is known for
Shipibo Store sells clothing and textiles carrying kené, the geometric embroidery of the Shipibo-Konibo people, made by artisans working with the Iquitos-based operation at Calle Atahualpa. Ponchos, tunics and backpacks are hand-embroidered in cotton and wool using patterns passed down through generations of Amazonian weavers.
