What Shrujan is known for
Shrujan is a not-for-profit founded in 1969 by Rolex Award laureate Chanda Shroff to revive Kutch hand embroidery, and its craftswomen's work is sold through Shrujan's own shops and exhibitions across India and abroad. The organisation also runs the Living and Learning Design Centre near Bhujodi, documenting the embroidery traditions of Kutch's many craft communities.
