What Shussai Kiln is known for
Shussai Kiln is the century-old pottery at the heart of Shussai Kurashi no Village, a small cluster of shops in Izumo that also includes a bakery cafe and a Kobe-born lifestyle store. The kiln's own direct-sale shop is open daily except Tuesdays, 9:30am to 6pm, selling its hand-thrown mingei tableware.
