What Sonia Demetz is known for
Sonia Demetz hand-carves and color-paints wooden nativity scenes and religious art at her studio in La Poza, between Selva and Santa Cristina in Val Gardena, continuing a painting technique she learned from her mother. Her pieces are sold through an online shop and directly from her art workshop, which also runs the adjoining Gardena Train Stop snack station.
