Sorai Olive Farm has grown olives on Shodoshima since the mid-2000s, earning gold at the Olive Japan competition for its extra-virgin oil pressed from Mission, Coratina, and other varieties. The farm sells its oils and olive saplings through an online shop as well as a farm-side sales counter on the island.
