The company keeps that same brief today, producing hand-roasted coffee in small batches on traditional drum roasters, selecting and blending teas, hand-scooping chocolate, and mixing spice blends such as Käpt'n Pfeffer, all sourced from what it describes as the world's best growing regions and made in small Hamburg manufactories rather than outsourced at scale. Its gift-set format leans into the Speicherstadt's own maritime past: sacks and wooden crates such as the Hamburger Seesack, Kapitänskiste and Grillsack package a curated run of products — coffee, tea, chocolate, spice, salt — the way a ship's stores might once have been packed for a long voyage. Products are sold through the company's online shop and a handful of physical retail points around Hamburg, with corporate gifting and customizable box options extending the same format to business orders. The company's identity stays tied to one neighborhood's trading heritage rather than a generic gourmet-gift catalogue.
