SWOP is a second-hand clothing exchange founded by two high-school friends who opened their first store in their hometown of Brisbane before expanding to Sydney's inner west and to Melbourne. The Newtown store, on Enmore Road, is a resale space where customers can bring in pre-loved clothing to exchange for either 30% of its assessed sale value in cash or 50% in store credit. The chain has operated in the Australian resale/vintage space for roughly a decade.
