What Talbott & Arding is known for
Kate Arding, formerly of Neal's Yard Dairy and Cowgirl Creamery, and chef Mona Talbott, who trained at Chez Panisse, opened this cheese and provisions shop in 2014. The counter curates cheese, charcuterie and Hudson Valley pantry goods under a standard the owners describe simply as: if it doesn't meet it, it doesn't cross the countertop.
