What Wajimanuri Studio RAKU is known for
Tucked in the countryside outside Wajima city, this small studio is one of the few workshops that carries out every stage of Wajima lacquerware, from undercoating to final polish, under one roof. Master craftsman Rikio Hikimochi and his family sell tea utensils and everyday lacquerware pieces from the studio, alongside repair and custom-order services.
