What Wax London is known for

British menswear and womenswear label founded in 2015 by Tom Holmes, Steffy Neceva and Richard Singh, known for pattern-driven shirting and easy tailoring from unusual mill fabrics; studio and head office in Camden, with a retail store in Spitalfields, East London.

Wax London began in 2015 when three friends - Tom Holmes, Steffy Neceva and Richard Singh - started making clothes out of a London kitchen, driven by an interest in fabric: unusual weaves, textures, patterns and prints sourced from mills and partners the founders vetted for how they operate. After two years working out of that kitchen, the trio moved into a studio and showroom in Camden Town, which remains the brand's head office and design base today. Wax London has since expanded into physical retail, including a store in Spitalfields, in East London, alongside a Soho location on Berwick Street and continued wholesale growth. The brand's identity rests on pattern-led, easygoing tailoring - shirts, jackets and trousers built for a range of settings rather than one dress code. Reporting from the trade press describes double-digit wholesale and retail growth in recent years. The company remains privately run by its three co-founders.
