White Label Coffee roasts out of Amsterdam, running three of its own spaces — West on Jan Evertsenstraat, Zon on Zonneplein, and its roastery on Jan van Breemenstraat — plus a partner counter at Native in Haarlem. The house has quietly dropped the old filter-versus-espresso split that most roasters still use to sort a menu: origins are roasted the same way "regardless of brewing method," a bet that a well-sourced lot doesn't need a different profile just because it's headed for a V60 instead of a portafilter. Current single origins run through Ethiopia, Colombia, Rwanda and Thailand, sold by the 150–250g bag through direct relationships the company describes as running "all through the chain" — sourcing, roasting and the counter under one accountable line. Mail order ships out at a fixed 16:00 cutoff every weekday, and a rotating subscription adds an element of surprise to what lands in the bag. Beyond retail, White Label also runs a wholesale arm, supplying cafés, restaurants and offices around Amsterdam with beans, equipment guidance and staff training — the behind-the-counter work that doesn't show up on a shop's Instagram but is where a lot of a roaster's actual volume goes.
