Die Zuckerlwerkstatt is a Viennese confectionery business specialising in traditional, handmade Austrian candy craft -- bonbons, lollipops and other sweets pulled and shaped using techniques the company describes as an otherwise near-extinct trade. It operates as a 'Schaumanufaktur' model, meaning its shops double as visible demonstration workshops where visitors can watch confectioners work. Its documented Vienna locations are on Führichgasse 3 (a 260-square-metre space between the Albertina museum and Neuer Markt, with two publicly viewable production lines) and on Herrengasse 6-8, its original demonstration workshop opened in 2013 and renovated in November 2025, which today produces Wiener Karamell on site; both addresses are in the Innere Stadt (1st district). The company also operates a shop and manufactory in Salzburg's old town, at Wiener-Philharmoniker-Gasse 3, inside the historic Palais Kuenburg-Langenhof. Products include classic Austrian bonbons, lollipops, and the caramel-based Wiener Karamell line, sold both at the demonstration shops and, per the brand's own site, through additional retail points across Vienna and Salzburg.
