Acca Kappa

Acca Kappa was established in 1869 by Hermann Krüll Sr, a young Prussian merchant who started his career in Venice trading bristles before taking a partnership at a brush-making factory outside Treviso, which became the company's base. The original business focused on premium brushes and grooming accessories made from fine imported materials; the quality of the work earned Acca Kappa recognition as official brush supplier to the British Royal Family, and by the early 2010s it had become Italy's leading brush manufacturer. The house moved into fragrance relatively late in its history: 1997 saw the launch of its first perfume, White Moss, an aromatic unisex scent built on fresh, spicy and musky notes. What began as an artisanal brush workshop has grown into an internationally distributed grooming and fragrance house, still headquartered in the Treviso area.
