What Allegri is known for

Allegri traces to the late 1950s/early 1960s, when brothers Allegro and Renato Allegri began producing nylon raincoats near Vinci, Tuscany. In 1962 they set up a wholesale-facing firm, Finest, in Empoli. They formally founded Allegri S.p.A. in Vinci in 1971. The brand's first standalone boutique opened in the 1980s on Via Tornabuoni in Florence.
