Bomboogie was established in 1991 as an Italian outerwear brand specializing initially in leather jackets, releasing its first collection in 1992 with reproductions of classic aviator-style jackets. The brand's name comes from the nose art of a World War II American B-17 bomber, and that aviation and military heritage runs through its design language - jackets and coats built with an emphasis on durable fabrics, ergonomic cuts and functional detailing drawn from flight and field gear. The current range centers on outerwear: down jackets, field jackets and coats mixing army and aviator references with contemporary silhouettes. Bomboogie is based in the Veneto region of northeastern Italy and distributes through its own e-commerce site and multi-brand menswear retailers.
