What Arnaud Soubeyran is known for
Jean Arnaud and Marguerite Soubeyran founded the house in 1837 — originally to raise dowries for their three daughters — and four generations on it remains Montélimar's longest-serving nougat manufacturer. At the factory's Musée du Nougat, visitors watch confectioners make the honey-and-almond nougat sold in the shop.
